Figured Olivewood Tower Box

Since I have not turned a tower style box in awhile, what better way to make one then to finish off the figured Olivewood blank I have left over from the round bottom box I made a couple of months ago. This cooling tower style box, turned from Olivewood (Olea europaea) includes my new double stepped domed lid design. I really like this lid design better then just a domed lid alone. Other features include a raised, bottom foot, and chamfered edges. Turned, hollowed and finished with abrasive wax. Size is 1 7/8" tall x 1 3/4" diameter. One blank, two beautiful boxes!!
Here is the completed set together.....
