Offset Winged Bowl

This is Elm burl and is about 8” x 2”. The green wood was turned and sanded smooth and left to warp and distort as it dried. When it no longer lost any weight it was finished with Danish oil and hand rubbed with 0000 steel wool. This may be the most stunning piece of wood that I have had the pleasure to work with.
