The numerous bark inclusions in this Southeast Asian Afzelia burl wood were filled with sawdust and CA before sanding and finish. Sure hope this thing stays in one piece when I take it out for a serious spin.
Good question...with a yo-yo, you want to avoid a out of balance "wobbler" at all costs. Turns out, at least in this case, fine wood-dust from the turning + CA = pretty close to the original wood density. This one spins perfectly.
