Bowl square was roughed and anchorsealed on 12-2-2022, and after 12 months of seasoning, it finally stabilized, ready for finish turning. Finished on 2-15-2024, and sold for $225 on 7-3-2025. The original block had a 16% MC. Sanded to 600gt, Danish Oil Natural, Beall 3-step buffed.

Oh, there was a little profit with this one. The blank cost me $67.53.

There really isn't much money in selling my lathe turned bowls. What drives me is my obstinate and continual reach for perfection. I seldom achieve it.....but, I'm getting closer to it more often now than I ever have. For me, that's where my satisfaction is. :)

Well.....that and the status it gives me amongst my family and friends......that is a motivator as well!
