Boxwood box with Black Walnut flower

This is my latest ornamental turning. A shallow slightly spalted Boxwood box 80mm in diameter and 50mm tall. The basket weave pattern was made with a 4mm cutter. The lid has a 40mm diameter Black Walnut flower cut on my Rose Engine lathe. The underside of the lid is decorated with a pattern and has a white CZ stone in the centre. Finished with 3 coats of spray gloss lacquer.
