Blackwood cube box

This is my first attempt at a cube shaped ornamental box. I learnt several things for when I make my next one.

The box is made from African Blackwood and is a 65mm cube with different Rose Engine turned patterns on each of the faces. It is a screw top box made using Boxwood threaded inserts made for me by a friend who has excellent thread cutting skills, which I don't have. The lid has a large white CZ stone in the centre. The box is finished with 3 coats of spray gloss lacquer.

What I learnt is that I need to ensure that any points on the pattern need to be on the horizontal or vertical axi
Great job!
