Small Desk

Before I started making wood go in circles I lived in Flatland. Then I moved into going in small but long circles to add round legs to my straight furnishings. My teacher/mentor told me "NO BOWLS!" I followed his advice until one day... I think the results of this detour from Flatland has been rewarding. I am addicted now sorry Mr. Pennington. I still visit Flatland from time to time.

Small desk for my grandson. Trying new, to me, ideas like floating top and wide splayed legs this desk is meant to be fun and lite in appearance. Black Oak 42" x 21" x 34" tall Finished with Linseed Oil and wax.
The real trick was turning 32" legs on a 30" lathe.
