I just finished building a dental piercing tool. This is the first project. I learned piercing when I was Binh Pho's assistant, probably 20 years ago. I'm finally getting around to giving it a try. This piece is a reject. There were numerous problems, but I learned a lot. It is 10" long and 3" wide. It was turned to 2 mm on the wings, and the bowl was 3. Really slow piercing at 3 mm thick. 2 was much better. 1.5 would be much easier. I had trouble cutting straight lines. I was getting better toward the end. I had a lot of piercings around the flower, but they were so ugly that I cut them all out. The negative spaces were too large and too ...

I agree, they were "too ..." The leaves and flowers look like stained glass.

It looks like I need to enable a longer description.
EDIT: I increased the description field from 600 to 2000 characters. Hopefully, that is enough.
