Hate to interrupt all these artistic pieces with a simple cherry bowl . This is one of five cherry bowls just completed for a customer for Christmas. All five average 13ā x 4ā.
I love turning bowls and seeing bowls with a graceful curve inside and outside. I started doing a slope rim about 3 years ago because I like the look. The sloped rim invites the eye in and is more comfortable on the thumb when picking up the bowl.
As soon as I get a few more completed I can start back on my hollow forms and doing some more carving. Iāll be working on my artistic skills
