Figured Maple Flared Bowl

First time making a funnel intentionally. Turned wet and allowed to warp. 11 inch diameter by 4.5 inch tall. Finished with oil base poly and buffed.
This shape normally feels somewhat formal to me, and in this piece the movement contradicts that. Combined with the swirly grain, it becomes an appealing and unique result. I really like it. That it's actually 'huge', at 11", makes it amazing. Well done, Michael.
