Custom made Lathe and Rose engine YoYo

first yoyo for me and this one bounced back and forth from my wood lathe to my rose engine lathe multiple times before completion, anyhow was lots of fun!
That's a beauty Bob, is that Purple Heart wood? It looks great.
Thanks Dave, its actually dyed and stabilized hackberry, I used an oil finish on it and really darkened up more than i wanted and hid the spalt. The stabilizing gave it a nice weight though.
