Lighthouse Lamp Lights On

Here’s a project that took me a while to complete. Everything that’s round was turned of course, the main house cylinder in elm, everything else in cherry wood including the cherry burl Base. Rocks at the base were carved from foam insulation board, sealed and painted. Door and both windows were cut with a laser. Lightings including interior are LED in the glass with the plug in cord goes out base in the back. Rock outline after penciled in was then burned in with a regular wood burner, textured on the lathe with a needle scaler. Each shingle on the roof was hand trimmed and glued individually. Sand is screened vermiculite. Overall height is 27 inches tall.
Spectacular work Steve! Every last piece of this lighthouse looks so realistic. I admire the amount of work that went into making this!
