Thanks Michael. I think the key to the angled illusion is to keep the "beads" as flat as possible. Otherwise the burning of the 45's is difficult and can overrun either side. I index sharp pencil lines where I want feature then hand burn the 45's with a spade-like pyro head. It is another style to try, inspired by the great examples of Native American design and art. I don't get all the lines the way I want them, because they are free hand, but hopefully it is close enough to be acceptable and pleasing.
