Morphed

One of my favorite processes is turning green wet Arbutus Burl and causing it to morph. Arbutus burl 3 footed bowl with natural edge, finished with tung oil. This is one of 12 bowls I recently completed following the same process. The wood is from the latest storm damaged harvest last fall. 16" X 10" X 8" high
Great piece and beautiful wood!! How thick is it?
Thank you David, I try to get them 1/4" or less everywhere. Arbutus has to be boiled if you want to twice turn it to prevent cracking as it dries. If it's once turned it does not seem to crack if less than 1/4" and dried slowly. It will get small little checks from shrinkage but not cracks.
