"The Offshore Banque"

Just how many hiding spots can I incorporate into a single vessel? Well let's see now...
Mostly maple, fiber reactive dye, some hot pen work and the favorite final finish of the impatient, gloss lacquer sanded back and buffed. Dying the wood as I did here tends to color and follow the figure in the timber. If I'm looking for a more color consistent end result I'll add dye to the finish instead. Preval spray bottles make this a simple process.
