Walnut and maple box

Can you tell us a bit more about this piece? What are the dimensions? What kind of surface treatment did you use? Looks like maybe bleaching for the maple?
 
Around 16 cm wide. No bleaching on the maple; it was turned immediately after felling to prevent oxidation and mold. That's why it's so white. Finished with carnauba wax and beeswax.
