Basket illusion platter with a new pattern. This pattern reminded me of a flower opening, with smaller petals in the middle getting larger as they head towards the rim. Hard maple, 12" in diameter. Colored with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens and Micron Pigma PN 0.45mm pens. 120 radial lines. Rim decorated with wood burner with skew tip. Finished with a coat of spray semi-gloss lacquer.
