“Garden Vase” is carved from Elm and textured with burrs and pyrography. The coloring is hand brushed acrylics. The form was turned and hollowed from a branch to its final shape with the pith left in through the base center with tenon removed. After drying for a year, it was sanded and textured. The piece is 11” x 6”.
