This is a really nice take on Jason's originals. I saw him do one of these in demo. He made it look easy which I know it's not.

Yeah his work is really inspiring. They are like little perfect jewels, this is a bit more rough and ready.

Thanks Maggie, I was completely confused when I first saw Jason Breech demonstrate his work as well. This was turned as a ringed platter first, then cut in half through the middle on a bandsaw, and “folded” in half. What was the the top of the platter becomes the glue seam down the center of this piece. I have attached an image of the piece before it was cut and folded.

No worries - I understand what you mean, but I don’t see a glue seam anywhere!
