Whoever You Are... Just Soar!

This balloon represents the diversity of all us people stuck together on planet Earth. Where ever you might fall in this spectrum, just be a good person (Soar!). I also hope this balloon will remind you that your fellow humans can also soar, even if they are soaring differently than you.

Around the middle of the balloon is a rainbow. Rainbows are part of many cultures, often representing peace, a covenant with God, cheerfulness, joy, and celebration. A rainbow flag was proposed during the American Revolutionary war to signify neutral ships. It is the background of the international peace flag. And since 1978, a rainbow flag has been a symbol of the LGBTQ movement. The LGBTQ flag has specific meanings attached to each color:

Red - Life
Orange - Healing
Yellow - Sunlight
Green - Nature
Blue - Serenity
Violet - Spirit

Around the top of the balloon, there are symbols of some of our world's religions.

Cross - Christianity
Star and Crescent - Islam
Taijitu - Taoism
Star of David - Judaism
Om - Hinduism
Wheel of Dharma - Buddhism

The wood used for the balloon represent 4 of our planet's continents:

Cap - African Blackwood - Africa
Balloon - Maple - North America
Basket - Bacote - Mexico and South America
Base - Chinese Sumac - Asia
