Snowball's Urn

This pet urn, turned in collaboration with my brother @Ethan Hoff is for our Grandma's beloved cat Snowball. This piece took a lot of planning and precision work especially on the chevron feature ring. The body is hard Maple with a Walnut, Cherry and hard Maple feature ring. We hollowed it in two separate sections and glued it back together with the feature ring. The shape is a classic tapered urn form with a chamfered, domed lid. See next post….
