Top finish and well done carving but I am not sure on the square edge on this one.Draws the eye to the sharp line ,edge and interrupts the flow of the leaves and carving.Just my view

I LIKE the square edge, the texturing, and the contrast with the polished underside. Also, it goes well with the base. I also like the colors. I like the whole piece.
