summer 2008 contest

Ring holder.
ash, turned on 3 axis, and carved (the spikes were carved in some areas left unturned). sandblasted and scorched, with oil finish.
22cm / 10 1/4" high
I like how the black texture with an old leather look will work with all kind of rings.

Gary, if you read my description you will see it has been turned. on 3 axis between centers, which creates the twist. and it's ash. so if it's not woodturning I don't know what it is.
