Birch Burl Bowl

Birch burl bowl.
6" dia. x 5" tall.
Same tree, same process of storage, turning, and finishing, but this developed a dark color much different than the rest of the burls I harvested from the tree.
I did loose a small piece or two off the rim, so I had to keep it thicker than I wanted to try to get to. But I got thinner with each one I did with the same burl chunk.
Thanks.
