Thanks Kurt and Rob!

This piece started out as a solid 2" X 6" block. After rough turning the diameter I then split in half with a parting tool. One half was used for the top and the other for the bottom, which was cut into rings and stacked . You can view a video of my process at WWW.woodtreks.com
