New Life

From a downed Bradford Pear, airbrushed and pierced. This is actually my first attempt after the Bihn Pho class in Arrowmont. It was for a silent auction to help raise money for the Women's Center of Ft Worth TX (a rape crisis center), but when they saw the pics they want to keep it for display in their new building. I was just overwhelmed with... Anyway it does tell a story of turmoil after the incident and then entering the Women's Center then emerging as a butterfly and a new lift. Comments Please.
Bob,
Lovely story, and great adventure into Binh's work. A suggestion would be to blend more colors in the background, using purple more sparinglyit seems to overwhelm the piece a bit and would benefit more with some blue or lighter color. I've been in some of Binh's classes so it's great to see another wood color artist!! Nice work!
