Copperpod Crouch Bowl

This bowl was turned from a crouch piece of Copperpod. I was able to core the blank and was able to get two very figured bowls out of the blank. The bowl I liked the best is the smaller of the two. It is 12 3/8”W x 4 1/8”H. I made this bowl much thicker than I normally do (3/4”) but I wanted to make sure that the crouch area had the stability to be a useable bowl. I filled some of the cracks and voids with Inlace turquoise, it has been dipped in a blend of oils and buffed with Carnauba wax. The bowl is food safe
