Curly Koa Round Bottom Box

While I have been turning quite a few boxes lately, I have taken a break from posting. But now I am back, and here is a new round bottom box. Turned from Curly Hawaiian Koa (Acacia koa) the color and figure are really awesome on this box, but finding a piece of Curly Koa is rare. The wood has a lot of pores and is less dense than most exotics. Turned, hollowed, and finished with buffed abrasive wax. Size is ~1 7/8" inches tall x ~2" diameter. I have turned many more boxes as I begin to prepare for my upcoming demonstration next month, so be on the lookout for more work.
