Cypress Burls- Small Bowls

Each about 4.25" in diameter, finished with PTO. The burls were gifted to me by my daughter who lives on the B.C. coast. They are very precious to me. I kept the shapes simple and appropriate for the burl shape. I have a few more that are somewhat larger that I am building up my courage to get them on the lathe. And one that weighs in at just over 20 pounds that has certainly got me bewildered as to how to approach it!
Stunning Will! The burl figuring and color is so rich and the forms are excellent.

Outstanding set Will…based on these, you’ll get the others figured out! Way to unleash this wood!

Michael, Gabriel, Nino, Ethan, Russ and Dave-- a BIG thanks and a group hug for your kind words and encouragement! All your contributions to the forum are of great help to me and undoubtably many others.
