Daily use Bowls

Here is a set of bowls that we use around the house every day. After spending far too much time on finishing on other turnings l like to make these bowls using no sandpaper (good practice trying to get no tear out cuts) and minimal if any finish. These type of bowls can be turned start to finish using green wood and the movement as can be seen in a couple in the photo adds nothing but character. Daily use also adds to a nice patina.

I like your term: daily use bowls. We see few useful items anymore. I like the bowl on the left quite a bit.
