Dream Horses #2
2nd in my "Dream Horses" series. 10" x 7" Sweetgum hollow vessel embellished with extensive pyrography, creating three different scenes going around the piece, all with a different arrangement of horses running. Black leather dye, green dye, acrylics, then Lacquer. This piece has a Greek / Mediterranean influence.

I love the texturing and carving Breck. Did you use a rotary tool to make the small divots? Nice control where you did the texturing right next to the carvings. Overall a very pleasing effect!

Thanks Brian, no I used a ball burning tip with my eagle burner. I scored in each horse with a blade burning tip then hours of dots.

Exquisite! all the colors come together well and the horses are amazing
the curve on the pot is sweet too.
