Bob,

What are the dimensions of this bowl?

How did the lacewood turn?

Can you share your procedure for gluing the rim wood to the body wood? Before turning, After partial turning etc.

About 5-1/2 inches diameter x 4 tall

Turned very nicely. I glue a full plank of ebony to the square before turning. I hand plane and scrape the mating surfaces flat and smooth, wipe them down with water to clean any dust and then glue with Gorilla Glue. Lots of clamps to assure there are no gaps in the joint because you never know until you get started exactly where the rim will emerge.
