Eggle Eye

I like eggs! Scrambled, fried, spiraled, carved, textured, colored. I think eggs offer one of the most pleasing forms as a canvas for wannabe artists such as myself. I always try to turn the "perfect" egg, and if it doesn't look like it turned out that way I remind myself... If you ask a chicken, "What is a perfect egg?" the answer will differ from that of an eagle.

This is "Eggle Eye." It made me think of the '50s sci-fi movie "The Blob," but that is no name for a "perfect" egg.

It's maple, chicken egg size (large to jumbo), texture is carved and burned, and colors are flat acrylics.
