Finialed Hollow Form Prototype

A finialed hollow form in Chesnut Oak and Madagascar Ebony. The HF was turned (but not hollowed) during a demonstration that I did during a basic woodturning course that I taught last month at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. It was used as a prototype for a second piece.

Base Diameter: 1 1/8"
Hieght: 7 1/2"
Max Diameter: 5 3/8"
Opening Width: 1 1/4"
Wall Thickness: 1/16" (at opening)
Finish: 4 Coats of Waterlox & carnuba wax
