Floor segmented vase.

Height: 96 cm.
The lower part is made of alder, stained red; the different grain angles create different shades. The upper part is white birch.
And my wife made the small bouquet.

I opened the pic up in a new tab to get a closer look... the bottom has a very cool 3D basket weave look to it, at least in the pic. Very nice.
