Glory Revealed

Lilac Barely There de-Anza Series 12"h x 11"d (ceanothus) (abt 14lbs)
I'm a bit sentimental on occasion feeling that I've found the perfect piece for turning. The hope is to due the piece justice in the turning process to bring out it's best form. I tried on this one - looking for a bit of negative space and a little wabi-sabi. The opposite side is more barely there. A few of my recent pieces borrow from a theme in New Testament writings of Paul in Romans 8 of the glory revealed in us. A sister piece to this (previous post) is currently in a religious themed exhibit re the same.
