Grapevines and Sycamore

Living with grape vines all around has influenced my art (and drinking preference). This sycamore bowl is 16" x 6". The images are burned in and color-blended with alcohol dyes.
Man that is really nice. I'm still stuck on plain old un-embellished wood. You guys keep setting the bar higher and higher.

thanks mike ... if you work with pretty wood, you don't need to embellish it! Besides, it gives me something to do in the late evening hours.

yea, remember when we had to hoist it up on the lathe ... or was that the 'other' brad???

thanks!
