Intrusive Thoughts

Maple eggs and Black Locust pedestal. Magnets attach the large egg to the pedestal. Embellished with pyrography, India ink, and acrylic paints. Hemp oil and lacquer finish. 10.25"h x 3"d. I made this for a swap with another turner.

Wow!! It looks like the black "thought lines" are trying to intrude into the "pure mind" of the white egg! This is pretty neat!
 
Great series ... and with your fertile mind I'm sure there are probably many options for future pieces. I like those subtle red(?) dots.
