It Ain't Pretty

Sassafras crotch platter, 9.5". It's a weird combination of live, natural, and cut rim. This piece of wood had at least three different densities, making for some challenges. Finished with T&T Danish oil. This was taken from a dead tree I cut down a month or so ago.

Excuse the messy photo table. I wasn't going for a production photo on this one.
