Luna Moths Have No Mouths

"Luna Moths Have No Mouths" is my latest piece exploring women losing their voices & bodily autonomy. Luna moths burst out of their cacoons with only 2 days to reproduce, before dying. Because evolution has created them without mouths, they only live long enough to procreate. Huh. Mike Kuterbach turned this beautiful wobbly bowl. This piece will be exhibited at "Works in Wood" in New Hope, PA (November 1-30).
