M&M Basket Illusion

Yellow and green were both used in Native American baskets, but I've seen very few examples. I wanted to explore the use of "lighter" colors than the red and black that are seen in many examples.

This is cherry about 9.75"x2.75". I used a high density of burn lines (33-34 per inch) similar to that used by the best weavers. I kept the burning as light as possible through the body, but made the rim detail a little darker to "frame" the light colors.

I called it M&M as the colors used are mustard and moss.
