Madrone Meadow Luminary view with internal LED

Madrone Meadow Luminary. Four inches high by 4 inches diameter. I turned this madrone vessel to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm using end-grain orientation. The wood was very dry (about 7 percent moisture content). The artwork was composed using Adobe illustrator. Some of the colors are pigma micron permanent ink and some are Derwent Inktense pencil. I got the idea of using Inktense from an article by Carol Hall in American Woodturner. The final finish is gloss crystal clear polyurethane.
