The previous media for this Keepsake Urn had a mesquite lid which after some honest critique I decided needed to be replaced.
The replacement is made from questionable Lilac wood. The scrap piece with the tenon pictured is how I held it for threading.
An improvement. Good job. I'm not the best finial maker, so I like to make small pulls, round ones, teardrop shape and others. But I prefer a smooth lid. Aloha
