A Bowl in Wood

Like to thank my friend Odie for this piece of Cherry Burl. It measures 10" X 7" X 2". When I first received this piece, didn't have a clue as to what I would turn out of it? So I decided to turn a shallow bowl in the piece. It had to be shallow because I only had 2" to work with. The piece weights 633 g. I finished the piece with 2 coats of Danish oil and buffed with the Beall buffing system.
