Mothers Day gift for my wife (outside)

The bowl is 12” W X 7.5” H. It is made of Canary, Cherry, Osage Orange, Pau Amarillo and Walnut. It is 36 layers of 72 segments for a total of 2592 pieces.
Very nice design and very well done Andy! I don't think many turners realize how much work goes into a segmented creation such as yours. I bet your wife really enjoyed it.

Thanks Brian. It takes me about 1 hour per layer so it would be approximately 30 hours to make this bowl, this does not include designing the pattern. She saw me making the bowl and said she really liked the design, so I surprised her with it when I finished it this past Saturday.
