Monkey Puzzle

I was offered some Monkey Puzzle a little while back and not having tuned any before I though I better try. This is the first go at it, turned once and dried in the fridge for a few weeks. Once it lost about 10 ounces a few cracks showed up. I didn't fill the cracks as they still look like cracks but did add 3 pewa to stop any further cracking. Notice how wavy the top rim went, I placed the pith dead center on the faceplate to reduce going out of round but I didn't expect the top rim to move like that. It turned quite easily but sure was messy. Finished with tung oil 10" X 5"
