Mulberry Burl (Outside In)

Mulberry Burl (Outside In)

4" high. I joined two small Mulberry burl blanks with a hidden rod. After turning, I bleached the interior and sapwood, aged the yellow heartwood with a baking soda and water paste, sprayed it with Matte lacquer, rubbed the matte to a satin on the heartwood, and then oiled the exteriour with Osmo Top Oil.
