I rough turned & hollowed this piece of Alligator Juniper many months ago & put it aside to dry. I turned it to its final shape 2 weeks ago it measures approx. 5.75" (h) x 5" (d). I didn't complete it because I was busy with several basket illusion pieces. I was also waiting on an HVLP spray gun I had ordered to apply the finish (recommended to me by Jay Shepard - thanks Jay!). I hand carved the neck to a square shape & woodburned the area with a basket weave tip. I used Turquoise Tru-Stone nuggets for the inlay areas, I sprayed a lacquer clear semi gloss finish and buffed.
