My First Bowl

This is my first bowl. It's 4" inches diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. It's made of "found wood"--I think it's Hickory.
Nice job for a first bowl! Keep it always. Welcome to the world of turning.

This is a good job on your first bowl.
Stick with it and you will discover ways
to improve the way you design and turn.
I agree with TEK, keep the bowl, and compare
it with other bowls that you create down the road.
Turn safely first, and secondly, have fun doing it.

The first ones are always good learning tools. If you have fun doing the turning, that's the most that counts. Nice bowl.

Thanks folks. It is a bit rough, mostly on the inside. I don't plan on letting this one go. It was fun turning--even the jam chuck to finish the bottom!
