My Pride Month bowl made from root wood and Red, Blue, and Yellow resin

I wanted to create something that felt both artistic and symbolic, so I made a bowl to celebrate Pride Month using root wood and a full spectrum resin pour. I usually let the wood be the star, but this time I flipped that and let the resin take center stage while still grounding it in natural material with meaning. Each of the seven wood pieces represents a color of the rainbow, and the chips packed between them symbolize how we’re all connected. The final piece turned out better than I imagined—with colors that almost glow and a shape that I’m really proud of.
